Before you toss that disc to retrieve your dog, do you know if it’s safe to play with? Here’s what you need to know before your dog bites off a dangerous piece of plastic.
Discs and dogs go together like summer sandals! With so many discs on the market, it can be difficult for owners to choose the right disc for their dog. This begs the question: What is the right disc for your dog?
safety first

Plastic discs differ in composition. Dog safe discs are made of plastic that has a certain degree of puncture resistance, but will not shatter. Brands and stores often sell or give these unsafe drives away for promotions. How do you know if you have a dog safe tablet in your hands or a cheap case? A dog safe disc will give less flare and more flexibility than a cheap disc. If in doubt, throw it out.

volume counts
Discs come in a variety of sizes, as do dogs. The size of the disc you play with will be determined by the size of your dog. There are puppy size and small dog size tablets. Like the dogs themselves, these tablets are really cute!
