What kind of family does a pit bull have for a pet?
This one does:

And this group of sillies:

Along with these guys here:

We are Chad and Lisa from Roswell, Georgia. We are your neighbors and these are our pets, Bernie and Sawyer. Nice to meet you. #thisisyourneighbourspet
This couple is adorable as well:

Joanna Falber, founder of the dog advocacy group Stubby Heroes, began collecting photos of adorable Pit Pit families a few months ago for a new project called This Is Your Neighbor’s Pet.
I first thought of calling it “This Is Your Neighbor.” holebut the URL for that name is already taken — anyway, Walber says BarkPostThis name is better
“The reason we show people with their pit bulls is because we really believe that when people realize who really cares about these dogs, maybe they will come along,” she says. “My thinking is that if people realize that there are lovely people out there with these dogs, they will associate the dogs as cute and, eventually, as more pets than Pit Bulls.”
She’s had hundreds of posts already, which are posted on This Is Your Neighbor’s Pet’s Facebook page. And Falber is looking for more—especially from people who live near areas with breed-specific legislation (laws banning or restricting ownership of dogs by breed, especially affecting pits), or who have faced anti-breed discrimination.
Walber hopes that these beautiful images will help lead the world to a place where he is understood to be just like any other dog – towards a place where this pet neighbor can put himself.
“We hope and wish that one day there will be no need,” Walber says. “We want our dogs for one day only to be considered pets. Until then, we’ll keep working on sharing how amazing our dogs are.”
I’m Johanna from Lawrenceville, GA. I am your neighbor and this is my pet Polly. Nice to meet you. #thisisyouribiapetwww.thisisyourneighborspet.com
