On Saturday, April 25, Nepal was hit by a massive earthquake that claimed countless lives and affected thousands. Homes have collapsed, national monuments have been demolished and people have lost everything while still feeling the heights.
During this difficult time, Nepal needs all the help it can get so that it can rebuild its life. With many aid organizations stepping up relief efforts, one in particular is speaking out for voiceless beings.

“We understand the human dimensions of the disaster, which is now the focus of media coverage, but we expect to learn more about animal-related needs and challenges in the coming hours and days, and we will be ready to help.”

Sehgal also said International Business Times that while the animals in the Central Zoo in Kathmandu are not harmed, it is feared that pets and livestock may have died or been injured.
Many of the people affected by the earthquake suffer from animals and livestock that need food, water and medical attention. On the other hand, many other pets that lost their owners are now homeless.
Here is an eye look at the devastation caused by the devastating earthquake. The footage was recorded on a dog camera attached to an IDF rescue dog.
