The lost dog of three years was reunited with her family the day before she was euthanized

فقدت الكلب لمدة ثلاث سنوات لم شملها مع عائلتها قبل يوم الموت الرحيم - الكلاب 2023

When Kelly Fender agreed to take care of a large black-and-white fossil she was the day away from being euthanized at a Rogersville, Mo., shelter, she thought the dog she named Adele would only be with her for a few days. Kelly said BarkPost:

“I usually pet younger dogs as my two dogs (themselves fail) are both energetic and about three years old. A gentleman in our rescue is a ‘senior dog’ kind of guy. He already had a full house when Ellen came forward [دودي] to [Facebook] post ask for a promotion for [‘Adele]]…. [Rescue One] We couldn’t just let her be euthanized and I just thought I’d take her for a few days, we’d do some changing and Adele would end up with this other foster…and I’d end up with a dog that’s better suited to my family and pack.”

As it turns out, there were other plans for this furry addition about to join the Kelly family.

“So that [أديل] I went to my house Eileen announced she had a microchip and people in our group were chasing after her owner. Once found [مالكها] , and we knew he wanted her, it seemed generous moving the dogs unnecessarily since they weren’t a true “sitter” and would move out in a few weeks. “

along with a survey "Adele chip" Her name came from her previous owners - Mayhem, or May for short.
Along with scanning Adele’s “chip” came the reveal of her name from her previous owners – Mayhem, or May for short.

“At first when I heard the reader beep, I wasn’t too excited because a lot of times they detect a chip but aren’t registered. The vet medical tech looked at the scanner and said it was registered and I was pretty excited.”

As reported by Elaine LBarkPost That mess was pre-scanned for a chip, but this scanner failed to find it, for whatever reason.

“checked [Mayhem] advance for a slice. Sometimes older chip readers don’t pick up new chips. And sometimes new slide readers don’t read old slides. It’s scary to think that it was [غاب] And that other dog chips have missed out. [لسوء الحظ ،] This is the reality “.

If you find a stray animal, it is very important to get it to a veterinarian, a shelter, or contact a rescue group so they can scan the animal for a microchip. It’s also important to ask if they have a “universal” scanner, as some scanners can only detect microchips produced by certain brands. By making sure that the animal scans a small chip, you increase the chances of meeting with the family from which you were separated.

Once it was discovered that May had acquired a microchip, Rescue One took on the role of rescue cyber security men because contacting their original owners wasn't as easy as it seemed. Annie Crousey, a corporate volunteer, called "Rescue One" in company by company "Mayhem" Small and managed to get the owner's name and contact information, but he ended up not being there. This didn't stop the rescue, though, and by searching Facebook for the owner's name and several contacted Richard Glossers, they finally succeeded in finding the missing dad who was suffering from it.

The best part of finding Richard Gloser? He was elated to know his dog was safe and sound, and yes, without a doubt, he wanted to be reunited. Richard said BarkPost,

“I knew right away [أن هذا الكلب كان الفوضى]. I never lost her in my heart… I was so happy knowing she had found her way home, and now I feel like I have the chance to make it to her. “

Three years ago when the Glossers lived on eight acres in Missouri, May wandered onto the property, never to return. Before Losing Chaos, the family was planning to get out of the state. Richard’s wide, Andrea, recently suffered a broken neck and a better job awaits Richard in a different state. Richard and his family had to leave Missouri without being able to locate May. Narrate that difficult time BarkPostRichard said:

“It seemed like everything was falling apart and it wasn’t getting any better.”

Even though Mae only shared her home with Kelly for a few weeks before she was reunited with her family, this gal left some wonderful — and amazing — memories behind.

“It was a delight! She was sweet, calm and funny. She is gorgeous! I love dogs who bob their heads…Richard’s birthday [عيد ميلاد] is today [قبل] Christmas, and I took pictures of her with a birthday hat to send to him. She was adorable tilting her head this way and that way.”

Eileen echoed Kelly’s sentiments, saying BarkPost:

“When I met [الفوضى] For the first time and I stepped into it, he leaned into my leg…I love it when dogs are rulers…in my car as I drove her to her sitter’s house (with Kelly), she pushed my hand to the bar and laid her head on the center console just watching me [،] Waiting for me to love her again.”

When asked about her favorite moment on the May trip, Kelly didn’t hesitate BarkPost:

My favorite part is the video when Mae sees her family for the first time. The news video showed a cut to the initial scene and the angle was different. Linda sent me [ويليامز] The video clip is spot on, and while she’s focused, she’s beautiful. It’s everything you want it to be. He’s a dog with her family again, and all is well with the world just in that moment as you watch her journey to him.”

May and her family, which includes her father, Richard, mother, Andrea, and her two human brothers, Jason and Alex, are successfully reunited on December 29, 2015.

For those who want to continue following May as she returns to life at home with her long-lost family, you can “like” her Facebook page.

Named 4 Love of K9s, the rescue group was the group that originally pulled May from the Rogersville shelter, to get to other rescues, like Rescue One, to look for a foster home.

If you can, consider donating to one rescue so they can continue to help dogs find their forever homes. (Or, as in May’s case, reuniting the dogs with their former owners.) And if you live in or around Springfield, you can also volunteer or work.
